How to Use Wax Melts | Wax Melt Burner Instructions

🔥 What You'll Need:

  • A wax melt burner – electric or tealight-powered
  • One of my soy wax melts – snap off a piece or choose a full shape
  • An unscented tealight (if using a traditional burner)

🧼 How to Use Your Wax Melts:

  1. Place the melt in the dish of your wax burner. Snap off one segment of a snapbar or use a full shape or sample piece.
  2. Turn on your burner or light a tealight beneath the dish.
  3. Allow the wax to melt gently and release its fragrance.
  4. Switch off or extinguish the tealight if you leave the room.
  5. Reuse the melt until the fragrance fades.
  6. Let the wax cool in the burner dish before removing with tissue or cotton wool.
  7. If the wax has hardened simply light it for a minute and slide out the old wax, then wipe the dish clean before adding a new melt.

💡 Tips for Best Results:

  • Don’t add water or oils to the wax
  • Always use a 4-hour tealight – avoid larger ones for safety
  • Never leave a burner unattended while in use
  • Use in well-ventilated rooms
  • Move your burner away from doors, windows or draughts.
  • Mix and match scent types to suit the season or your mood!
