Fresh reeds matter. Over time, reeds become saturated and less effective at releasing fragrance. Replacing them when you refill helps maximise scent throw and keeps your diffuser performing at its best.

Many refill products only include fragrance. I include fresh reeds too, so you can refresh your diffuser properly.

How to use your reed diffuser refill

1. Unscrew the cap and carefully pour into your reed diffuser bottle. A funnel may help.
2. Take care to avoid spills on delicate surfaces.
3. Add your fresh reeds.
4. Allow 24 hours for the scent to start diffusing through your space.
5. Flip the reeds once a week to refresh the scent and boost throw.
6. Place somewhere stable, away from direct sunlight or radiators for best performance.

Tip: For a subtler scent, use fewer reeds. For a stronger fragrance, use them all.

A spicy fragrance opening with pink pepper, cardamom, armoise, thyme, frankincense, lime and lemon, leading into a heart of clove, patchouli and lily with fruity notes of apple, plum and raspberry on a base of amber, tobacco, cedarwood, guaiacwood, cistus and musks.
